Thingfishy hit it on the head, Albright was better off, even moreso now. Could you imagine the repurcussions of his career if he were still in WWE when Benoit, his (kayfabe) mentor murdered his family? I mean, they were really pushing it down people's throats that "Gunner" was the next Benoit. They went as far as giving him similar tights and everything, and even in OVW he had a similar submission to the crossface (the Crowbar, which he still uses today) and hit the dynamite head. WWE needs to quit this "protoge" crap. It didn't work for Orlando Jordan and Undertaker, it didn't work for Nathan Jones and Undertaker, it didn't work for Benoit and "Scott", and it wont work again. They need to quit comparing people to past stars, and let them gain their own spotlight as a unique individual, which Albright's capable of. The kid's indy work is lightyears ahead of what WWE would allow him to do, and other than looking Bob Holly stiff, I really can't see how they'd say he doesn't "wrestle their style."
