Whats the chromosome replication in mitosis?

A normal cell in interphase has 23 pairs (46 total) of chromosomes. When it approached the mitotic phase, the genome is duplicated to make 46 pairs of chromosomes. Then the cell undergoes mitosis and divides into two daughter cells each with 23 pairs of chromosomes. You had it right.
