For metal and easy playability, I would go with the Epiphone Zack Wylde or the Gibson SG. The Zack Wylde model looks sick and is going to scream metal when you plug it into the right amp, it seems to be what you are looking for. The SG is a little more versatile, so you might wan2 take that into consideration. Best of luck
