Republicans, if you lived in a country other than USA, would you prefer it be a democracy or absolute monarchy?

Strictly defined, both an absolute democracy and an absolute monarchy are antithetical to individual rights. It doesn't matter if your rights are violated by a monarchical proclamation or by vote (tyranny of the majority)
